Stir and Fry are hugely excited to have an international online short film competition! There are 4 editions a year, and entry is FREE. Our aim is to celebrate indie filmmaking.

THE ONLY RULES

- Submit only via Filmfreeway > or Festhome >

- Films must be under 5 minutes and have English subtitles if the dialogue is not English.

- Films must be completed within 2 years of the deadline. No premiere status required.

- You may submit multiple films, but not the same one twice.

- No unfinished films and no unauthorised use of music etc.

AWARDS

For each edition of the competition, the best films will be promoted on our YouTube channel. Of these 'officially selected' films, there will be 1 winner in each category. The winning filmmakers will be interviewed about their work on our YouTube channel, if they are comfortable with this. This is a competition, not a festival, so the films will not be screened in their entirety. But we hope to draw attention to new and exciting films! We will respect filmmakers' wishes for their work to remain private.
